About the photographer
Hey, I’m Gragas. I’m originally from Los Angeles, but now I’m based in Salt Lake City. I chase light, sound, and stories on film and digital.
My main focus is concert photography. There’s nothing like capturing the raw energy of a live performance. The sweat and the lights create an unforgettable atmosphere. Those blink-and-you-miss-it moments on stage are thrilling. But my curiosity doesn’t stop there. I also shoot nature and street scenes. I photograph drift motorsports at UMC. I’m diving into real estate and portrait photography with the same creative drive.
By day, I’m a logistics specialist. Off the clock, I’m either holding a camera or heading outdoors. I might be backpacking in the Wasatch, snowboarding in deep powder, biking or cruising on my longboard around town.
Photography is my way of staying present. It helps me tell stories. It blends the chaos of live events with the calm of open landscapes. Whether it’s a packed venue, a mountain trail, or a quiet street corner, I’m always searching for the next shot. I want each photo to convey how it felt.

As a photographer, I specialize in capturing the dynamic energy and emotions of both concerts and motorsports, using my unique techniques learned over years of practice.
My techniques
I try to embed the feeling of the moment. My favorite medium is shooting film on my F5. Playing around with light in different ways that each body and lens can go.
My inspirations
My biggest inspiration for Photography is my dad. He gave me my first body and I took it everywhere. Messing around with lens, playing around with comp and making it my own.
My approach
I blend my passion for art and photography to create vibrant images that encapsulate the essence of live performances and high-speed action, ensuring each photo reflects the true atmosphere of the moment.
